Some Facts About Prostate

The problem with prostates for most men is simple: enlargement. This is often more of a bathroom nuisance than anything else. But not always.

For many men, the symptoms are as much a part of aging as graying hair: Frequent urgent urination. A weak or intermittent stream. Getting up several times at night.

While worrisome, the problem, called benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), isn't linked to cancer. The prostate simply becomes enlarged, pressing the urethra and making urination difficult.
